Privacy notice

The short version

We collect the minimum needed to quote your parts, make them and deliver them. We do not sell your data, we do not share your design files, and we delete either on request.

What we collect

• Your design files. The STL files you upload, and the geometry we measure from them.
• Contact details. Name, email, and optionally phone and company, when you save a quote, place an order or send a message.
• Order information. Shipping address, order contents, payment status and correspondence.
• Basic technical data. Your IP address and browser user-agent are recorded with quotes and messages, to stop abuse of the upload tool.

We do not use advertising trackers, analytics profiling or third-party cookies. The only cookie this site sets is a session cookie that remembers your in-progress quote. It expires when you close the browser.

Your design files

Your files are used to quote and manufacture your parts, and to let you reorder without uploading again. Specifically, we never:

• publish, exhibit or post your geometry;
• sell, license or share it with anyone outside your job;
• use it to make parts for anyone else;
• train any model on it.

Where a job needs a partner to complete it, we share only what that partner needs to make your parts, and only with partners under confidentiality obligations. We are happy to sign your NDA before you send anything — just ask.

Payments

Card payments are processed on our payment provider's own hosted page. Card numbers are never transmitted to or stored on this website. We see only the amount, the status and a reference number.

How long we keep things

• Uploaded files and quotes: retained so you can reorder. Deleted on request, or after prolonged inactivity.
• Order records: kept for the period Canadian tax and business records law requires.
• Messages: kept while they are useful for supporting you, then deleted.

Your rights

Under PIPEDA you can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email heftyventures@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. Specifically, "please delete my files" is a request we action promptly and confirm in writing.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS. Uploaded files are stored outside the publicly browsable web content and are not directory-listable or guessable; they are only retrievable by us through an authenticated admin panel. No system is perfect, and if we ever discovered a breach affecting your data we would tell you directly.
